A Claims Handling Facility Dedicated to Insurance Brokers
Most Insurance Brokers have considerable experience in advising their Clients on claims procedure generally, but there is the frequent need, especially on more substantial claims, to have the co-operation of external professional specialists to ensure that the Client receives the optimum support in dealing with the claim. To cater for this requirement, THOMPSON & BRYAN have launched their CLAIMS ALLIANCE scheme to assist Insurance Brokers in this capacity, and are perfectly suited to meet all claims needs. Through their highly qualified multi-disciplined staff operating from seven major cities, combined with 140 years acting solely for the Insured, THOMPSON & BRYAN will:-
- Relieve both Client and Broking staff of the burden of claim preparation for damage to BUILDINGS, PLANT and STOCK, leaving them free to concentrate on the vital task of restoring the business, and other equally important post-fire responsibilities.
- Field a team of experts to co-operate with the Broking staff in the negotiation of all aspects of claim on an equal footing with similarly qualified Loss Adjusters, forming a powerful alliance working to FSA guidelines for the benefit of the Insured.
- Calculate the claim for BUSINESS INTERRUPTION and advise on emergency business procedures and expenditure on temporary facilities.
- Co-operate with the Broker in providing continuous professional input on all aspects of claim, and keeping the Client fully informed on progress, problems, and developments.
- Work with the Broker in obtaining regular interim payments from Insurers, and in achieving final optimum settlement, subject always to the approval of both Client and Broker.
- Ensure that the fees chargeable to the Client are acceptable to both Client and Broker, and that the Broker’s own internal costs are covered by prior agreement on the basis of work introduced.
The CLAIMS ALLIANCE scheme is designed to bring maximum professional input into claims procedure, ensuring that the Client’s needs are fully met by the Broker, and that the Client base is maintained and strengthened.
