FCII and ACII
Fellow or Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute indicating excellence in insurance matters. Many of our staff hold the additional special title of Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Qualification is by examination.

DipCII
Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute indicating competence in general insurance matters. Qualification is by examination.

ACIArb
Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a diploma awarded for considerable experience as an expert witness in court cases.

MRICS
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors indicating competence in quantity surveying and other surveying abilities. Qualification is by examination.

MCIOB
Member of the Chartered Institute of Building indicating a thorough knowledge of building construction methods. Membership is by a combination of examination and proven experience.

MBIAT
Member of the British Institute of Architectural Technologists indicating in-depth knowledge of building technology. Qualification is by examination.

MBEng
Member of the association of Building Engineers indicating expert knowledge of building structures and fire precautions. Qualification is by examination.

DipSurv
Diploma in building surveying indicating in-depth knowledge of building surveying. Qualification is by examination

ACIS
Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators indicating proficiency in company administration and finance. Qualification is by examination.

BSc
Bachelor of Science in Building Technology and in Mathematics/Economics. Qualification is by examination.

FSS
Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, a qualification granted for outstanding statistical knowledge, with privileged membership.

PhD
Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Qualification is by submission of thesis and acceptance is restricted to persons of exceptional ability.
